How to prepare for a job interview at CSS

Know Your Routes

Familiarise yourself with the routes you’ll be driving, especially if they include ports or specific areas in London and Essex. Being able to discuss your experience with these routes can show your potential employer that you're prepared and knowledgeable.

Highlight Relevant Experience

Make sure to emphasise your previous Class 1 driving experience during the interview. If you've worked at ports before, share specific examples of your duties, like loading containers and ensuring their security. This will demonstrate your capability and reliability.

Be Ready for Practical Questions

Expect questions about safety regulations and how you handle various driving scenarios. Brush up on HGV regulations and be prepared to discuss how you ensure compliance while on the road. This shows that you take safety seriously.

Plan Your Transport
