CSS Recruitment are looking for an Electrical Designer for our client based in Central London. The Electrical Designer will be responsible for producing detailed electrical designs for commercial projects, ensuring all systems are compliant, coordinated, and delivered to the highest standards. The role involves working closely with project managers, estimators, and installation teams from concept through to completion. We are looking for someone to develop electrical designs across the board, also providing technical support to site teams during installation and commissioning stages.
Skills and Experience
- Experience as an Electrical Designer or Design Engineer in commercial building services.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design standards and building services systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design software (Amtech, Relux/Dialux).
Required
- HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
- City & Guilds 18th Edition (BS 7671) preferred.
- Relevant design or CAD qualifications advantageous.
