CSS Recruitment are hiring for a Senior Procurement & Contract Management Advisor in Basildon, Essex. The successful candidate will be required to be on-site a minimum of 1 day per week.
Responsible for supporting the organisation in developing and delivering a range of service projects through robust business cases and detailed commercial programmes and plans. The Commercial programme is directly linked to the Council’s Medium Term Financial Strategy and the post holder provides strong financial governance; as well as tracking progress and key dependencies, maintaining issue logs, project plans and ensuring robust risk management. Programmes and projects may be cross cutting within the organisation and with external parties.
Experience required: Local Government Procurement Experience.
