My client provides professional training services to a range of employers nationwide. They’re based in the heart of Manchester. The E Learn Skills Coach is responsible for front‑line support of their students, working as a teaching professional, providing curricular and pastoral support consistently and reliably across their caseload.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and supportive service to students
- Use a range of communication media and be prepared to provide support students
- To provide structure and focus to assist the students in managing their workloads
- Ensure telephone, e‑mail and video conferencing tutor support is available for students
- Provide constructive feedback, mark and return all student work, within agreed timeframes
- To maintain records of all student contact using the correct documentation and collect evaluation information
- To work within the framework set out by Awarding Bodies or other accrediting agencies
- To attend regular team meetings and participate in cross‑marking and moderation where required
- Accurately update staff and student records on the internal portal
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience of assessing in the specified occupational area
- Assessing award – A1/D32/D33 or equivalent
- Minimum Level 3 teaching qualification
- Level 2 English, Maths and ICT
- A good level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be able to work closely and cooperatively with other members of the staff team
- Maintaining an up‑to‑date knowledge of subjects taught and developments
