We are recruiting on behalf of a leading UK manufacturer of display packaging. Due to their continued growth and development, they are seeking to employ a Machine Operative for their Walsoken, Wisbech site to start as soon as possible.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 5:50am – 1:55pm, 7.75 hours per day; potentially the hours may change to 5:50am – 2:30pm, 8 hours per day.
Duties Will Include:
- Where appropriate crew management, training & development
- Machine specific efficient product manufacture working to OTIF principles
- Quality product manufacture following the technical drawings
- Health, safety & environmental ownership on your nominated equipment
- Operating in line with the group safe systems of work
- Quality control, first off and in process checks
- Cleanliness of equipment and work area
- Collection of shop floor data
- Cross training of other employees
- willingness to be trained in other operational areas
