CSS Recruitment & Training are currently seeking to recruit a Document Controller in Watford, Hertfordshire. The Document Controller will support and ensure the successful delivery of assigned projects while maintaining the highest standards and fostering strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Line Manager and Design Manager
- Regularly update and maintain Viewpoint (CDE), R Drive, Smart Waste, and Work Wallet
- Serve as the primary contact for site or office visitors and handle telephone inquiries as needed
- Support team members to achieve successful project outcomes
- Strive for excellence in quality, service, and business performance
Requirements
- Ability to meet deadlines independently
- Ensure all project documentation adheres to company standards, remains accurate, and is well-maintained
- Approve QA documents, ensuring correct workflow and file naming conventions
- Upload, edit, print, and distribute drawings, specifications, and reports
- Apply common sense, good judgment, and environmental awareness
- Proficiency in Viewpoint, R Drive, and Work Wallet
- Strong typing skills
- Understanding of team members' roles and responsibilities, with a willingness to assist as needed
