We are recruiting for a leading and prestigious Food Service Company based in Downham Market. Due to their continued growth and development, they are seeking to employ a PM Shift Assistant Supervisor to start as soon as possible. This is an ongoing role potentially leading to permanent for the right candidate.
Working Hours
- Monday - Friday | 10:30am - 6:30pm
- Saturdays | 7:30am - 1pm (term time)
Duties & Responsibilities
- To ensure all orders are picked accurately and to the correct quality in a timely manner.
- To ensure that your shift is operating in the most efficient way to carry out the tasks assigned to it.
- To ensure that the shifts that you are responsible for at any one time comply with all Health and Safety legislation and advising your manager or directors of deviations from this or potential deviations which you feel may occur.
- To assist in the application of the HACCP function of the business so far as it relates to the shift you are responsible for and to ensure that the quality and food safety systems in place are adhered to in operational areas to enable the company to maintain its accreditation status and to comply with current legislation.
- To assist with in-house training of operational staff where required.
- To assist in disciplinary interviews according to company policy and current legislation.
- Keyholder to secure the building at the end of each shift.
- Ability to liaise effectively with managers and staff at all levels.
- Some practical understanding and awareness of operational activities within a food environment.
- Awareness of HR legislation and procedures so far as it relates to the business.
- Ability and training to fully understand the need for and workings of HACCP.
- Ability and willingness to continue to be trained to higher standards and in new areas of legislation as appropriate.
