We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join our clients team in Leeds. This role involves a mix of warehouse duties and occasional work as a driver's mate, assisting delivery drivers with customer deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Sorting and organising stock in the warehouse
- Performing regular stock checks and inventory counts
- Operating basic warehouse equipment
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all health and safety policies and procedures
- Assisting delivery drivers with loading and unloading goods at customer locations
- Safely handling items weighing up to 30kg between two people
- Providing excellent customer service during deliveries
- Ensuring all goods are handled and transported safely
Requirements
- Previous warehouse or manual handling experience preferred but not essential
- Ability to work in a physically active role
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Willingness to work flexible shifts
