As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join our mobile engineering team. What You’ll Be Doing
This is a field-based role covering London and the South East. You’ll attend a variety of commercial sites, carrying out installation, servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding on commercial and light commercial refrigeration systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Responding to breakdowns and carrying out reactive repairs
- Installing and commissioning refrigeration equipment
- Diagnosing faults and resolving issues efficiently
- Ensuring compliance with F-Gas regulations and health & safety standards
- Completing digital job reports using our mobile system (Cafty)
You’ll represent CSS Environmental on-site, so professionalism and strong customer communication are essential.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a reliable, skilled engineer who can work independently while maintaining high standards.
Essential
- F-Gas Certification
- City & Guilds 2079 (Level 2) in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- Proven experience with commercial refrigeration systems
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- NVQ Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
You’ll need strong fault-finding ability, a proactive approach, and pride in your workmanship.
