CSS Recruitment are looking for experienced Warehouse Operatives to join our clients team based in Witham, Essex.
Working Hours:
- Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday
- 6:30am – 3:30pm, 12pm – 9pm or 7pm – 7am
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Packing & unpacking boxes and pallets
- Loading & unloading trailers and containers of varying sizes
- Ensuring the safe use of mechanical equipment if and when utilised, including work platforms and dock levellers
- Maintaining inventory controls by accurate stock allocation and reporting any discrepancies both in a written and verbal format to the Warehouse Team
- Ensuring the Health & Safety of yourself and others
- Contribute at all times as a team player
Successful Applicants Will Have:
- Prior warehouse and container experience
- Numeracy and literacy skills
- Load planning experience
- Load restraint knowledge
- A level of physical fitness that allows for lifting of weight of up to 15kg throughout the shift
- The ability to work full time hours as set out above
- Forklift licence is advantageous but not essential – this is not a Forklift Driver position
