Our client is a leading manufacturing company based in Kings Lynn; due to their continued growth and development they are seeking to employ a Production Planner to join their friendly and professional team.
Permanent role.
Hours will be Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm and Friday 8am – 4pm.

Overall Responsibilities
To have regular effective communication with the customer.
To maintain and update the business system accordingly in line with business requirements.
To support the Commercial Manager as required.
Excellent organisational skills required.
You have the responsibility to ensure all areas and workspaces are kept clean, tidy, and organised to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
To comply to the companies Health & Safety Policies.
To comply to the companies Quality Management System.
Responsibilities & duties
Experience in using a manufacturing system.
Good working knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related business systems.
Producing Job Packs in line with the production plan.
Review job orders and accordingly establish priorities for production.
Review production plans to identify and report potential risks to the Commercial Manager.
Receive customers’ orders, check against quote and input to company’s system.
Raise purchase orders for materials and parts when required in production.
Communicate production updates to Commercial Manager and customers on regular basis.
Take responsibility of customer orders from receipt to shipment.
To monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget.
Maintain the company’s system accuracy.
