Our client is a leading global supply chain specialising in labels and packaging solutions. Due to their continued growth and development they are seeking to employ a Slitting Operative for their Kings Lynn site to start as soon as possible on a permanent basis.
Working Hours:
- Early shift – Monday to Friday – 6am – 2pm
- Night shift – Sunday to Friday – 10pm – 6am
- Late shift – Monday – Friday – 2pm – 10pm
Duties To Include:
- Ensure that company written procedures are adhered to at all times
- Machine is to be set up and run as to the specification sheet
- Ensure planned production outputs are met
- Ensure that regular checks are made whilst the machine is running
- Run machine following general operating specification & report any issues
- Keep a log of all your jobs and total produced by way of SFDC system
- Ensure all work is labelled clearly and correctly and of the highest quality
- Ensure that waste is kept to a minimum at all times
- Use forklift truck on completion of training for the collection of materials
