CSS Recruitment are currently looking for a Technical Manager in Halstead. As the Technical Manager, the responsibility will be ensuring food safety and quality. Maintaining compliance against all third-party standards and being critical in the role of ensuring all food safety standards compliant with EU and UK regulations and legislations. The client has made a commitment to customers to implement a high standard for their processing site. The Technical Manager will be an integral part of achieving this declaration.
Main Duties:
- Address, investigate and manage customer complaints, prepare preventative actions and formal responses.
- Focus on hygiene and verification of hygiene implemented.
- Update and review HACCP.
- Communicate with suppliers and customers to ensure product quality.
- Ensure attendance and communicate through the technical team update at weekly sales meetings and production meetings.
