CSS are currently recruiting for a Glass Inspector for one of our clients based in Witham, Essex. We are looking for candidates with previous window fabricating / glass inspection experience. This is to confirm if the product is up to standard and specification. Successful candidates will be inspecting different ranges of windows and going through to other departments within the factory. This will include designing and assembling different windows.

Duties To Include:

  • Using hand and power tools
  • Working within the factory
  • Some awkward or heavy lifting
  • Inspecting finished products to specification
  • Following assembly instructions
  • Maintaining a clean workspace

Starting immediately, this is a temp to perm role after 12 weeks, which also may include a pay review. Shift time - Monday to Friday - 6am - 2:30pm.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in glass inspection / manufacturing required
  • Knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Own transport preferred due to location and shift times - public transport not available
