Apprentice Technical Coordinator | Framatome

Looking to build a career in quality within the nuclear industry? Framatome is recruiting two Apprentice Technical Coordinators to join its team in Avonmouth, Bristol.

You’ll gain practical experience while completing a Level 4 Quality Practitioner apprenticeship with CSR Scientific Training.

Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 depending on experience

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

What will you do?

Working alongside manufacturing, quality and project teams, you’ll help keep project documentation accurate, organised and complete. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Helping prepare, check and manage quality documents and inspection records
  • Maintaining trackers to monitor submissions and outstanding actions
  • Supporting digital systems used to store and manage project records
  • Monitoring performance measures to help teams get documentation right first time
  • Communicating with colleagues and clients to coordinate quality information

Who are we looking for?

Someone who is organised, has strong attention to detail and enjoys working as part of a team. You’ll need good IT skills, clear written and spoken English and a willingness to learn.

Previous experience in a similar role or a keen interest in developing a quality career within industry will support your application. This is an entry level opportunity with scope to develop into other quality roles.

GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above are essential. Relevant A levels or an engineering BTEC are desirable.

Alongside workplace learning, you’ll attend monthly online lectures and complete a continuous improvement project. You’ll develop knowledge of quality processes, nuclear safety and how different teams work together.

On successful completion, there may be an opportunity to apply for a permanent role.

Candidates must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the programme and have lived in the UK for at least the past three years.
