None of that happens without proper people. And proper people need proper training. That's where you come in.
What you'll actually do:
- Run internal training programmes for construction folk who'd rather be on site than in a classroom (you up for a challenge?)
- Manage a budget like it's your own money (but it's not, so slightly looser)
- Represent the company at career events without the cringe sales pitch
- Track progress, assess training program, and generally make sure nobody's wasting anyone's time
What you bring:
- Recruitment or training experience in construction (ideal but not rigid)
- Budget sense and basic HR software competence
- Presentation skills that don't put people to sleep
- A postgraduate qualification is nice. Real-world sense is better
