The predicted salary is between 51750 - 63250 Β£ per year.

Our client is a fast growing, leading civil engineering company, delivering a variety of services across the UK and Ireland. As part of their continued growth, we are seeking to recruit a supervising civil engineer to join their team. This is an exciting, challenging and demanding role within the company, with opportunity to grow with the business.

Duties

  • To supervise civils projects including road and bridge construction, ensuring the associated build teams are meeting KPIs and targets.
  • Assisting with planning crews around the works and ensuring daily tracking.
  • Supervising engineers on site and reporting any concerns into site managers.
  • Ensure relevant Health & Safety standards are followed and achieved.
  • Oversee completion of works are carried out in line with acceptable handover to client.
  • Attend all required meetings with both Client and sub-contractors.
  • Attend weekly progress meetings when required and ensure Council permits are in place to keep civils works on schedule.
  • Co-ordination of work in line with delivery programme.
  • Manage client expectations.
  • Manage risk register in line with delivery programme and documentation of possible delays.
  • Assess, review, and mitigate commercial & contractual risks.

Skills & Experience

  • At least 3 years experience in civils engineering.
  • Previous supervision of work or teams.
  • The ability to motivate, manage a successful team to deliver the highest possible standards.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships.
  • Excellent organisation, communication and leadership skills.
  • IT literate to be able to use iPad / laptop.
  • Full valid driving licence.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS (desirable).
