A leading Top 5 Main Contractor is seeking to recruit a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. This organisation delivers a diverse portfolio of large-scale projects across the UK, including commercial, residential, healthcare, and leisure developments. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of work, particularly within the mixed-use and commercial sectors.
The Role
As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of all commercial aspects on projects valued at £25M+, acting as the commercial lead on site. You will work closely with internal teams and senior stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered successfully from a financial perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and management of monthly CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations)
- Monitoring and reporting on KPIs
- Attending weekly project review meetings with the Contracts Director
- Collaborating with the Contracts Management team
- Participating in project debriefs upon completion
- Contributing to monthly management meetings
- Producing cost value reports
- Conducting regular site visits
- Managing the submission and negotiation of final accounts
- Reviewing and validating subcontractor applications
- Preparing monthly cost reconciliations for the Division Manager
Requirements
- Proven experience working for a Main Contractor
- Experience delivering projects valued at £5M+
- Strong knowledge of current forms of contract
- Experience within mixed-use and/or commercial projects
- Degree qualified (BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying)
- Minimum 3-4 years' post-graduate experience
