A leading Chartered Quantity Surveying and Construction Cost Consultancy practices, with a long-established reputation for delivering expert commercial advice and exceptional client service across a diverse range of sectors, has a new requirement for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

Working within a dedicated and dynamic cost team this is an exciting opportunity to work directly with repeat clients and project teams on a range of sectors.

Role Responsibilities The successful candidate will undertake a range of duties including: Preparation of cost estimates and cost plans.

Procurement advice, preparation of tender documentation (including Bills of Quantities).

Tender analysis and recommendation reporting.

Contract administration and commercial management.

Valuations and payment assessments.

Change control and cost reporting.

Risk management and value engineering.

Final account negotiation and agreement.

Stakeholder engagement and client liaison.

Supporting the delivery of high-quality consultancy services across multiple projects and sectors.

Contributing to business development initiatives and the development of long-term client relationships.

About You Degree qualified.

MRICS preferred, but not essential.

Other professional qualifications or memberships desirable. .

Pre and post contract experience.

Experience of working under construction contract terms and conditions, preferably JCT, NEC or similar.

Previous experience working within a consultancy environment strongly desirable.

Able to work on own initiative.

A strategic thinker with broad problem-solving skills.

Experience working in a client focused environment with a personal commitment to the delivery of excellent client service.
