CSR are working on behalf of a Co. Antrim contractor seeking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor/ Project Manager. Based primarily in Head Office in the Greater Belfast area, you will play an integral role within the business and be a main point of contact for clients. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the management and coordination of contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pricing
  • Prepare Bills of Material.
  • Preparation of purchase requisitions.
  • Communicate with suppliers and sub-contractors.
  • Manage Subcontractors
  • Ensure that all components supplied meet the relevant building regulations and contractual requirements.
  • Agree design approvals and maintain relevant document transmittal records.
  • Work with the Design and Sales team on commercial issues such as project proposals, estimates, operational planning.
  • Maintain contact and relationships with clients and staff to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

The Person:

  • 3-5 years' experience minimum in a construction related environment.
  • Familiarity with building regulations and contract documents.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach as part of a small team.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and staff.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise personal workload.
  • Commercial awareness and negotiating skills.
  • 3rd level qualification in a relevant discipline.
