Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor - Commercial Interior Fit-Out Overview An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a respected commercial interiors contractor specialising in hospitality and leisure fit-out projects across the UK.
In this role, you will be responsible for the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring effective cost control, accurate financial forecasting, and the successful commercial delivery of each project.
Working on a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from small refurbishment works to major fit-out schemes valued at up to £5 million, you'll gain exposure to a wide variety of pubs, bars, restaurants, hotels, and leisure venues nationwide.
About You We're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor with a solid background in main contracting or interior fit-out.
You will be commercially astute, highly organised, and confident managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong financial control and delivering excellent client service.
Requirements Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
Strong commercial management experience across live construction projects.
Background in hospitality, leisure, commercial interiors, or fit-out projects.
Experience preparing valuations, managing variations, and negotiating final accounts.
Good understanding of procurement and subcontractor management.
Estimating or tendering experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
Ability to manage multiple projects within a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong analytical, organisational, and commercial awareness.
Relevant Quantity Surveying or construction-related qualification is desirable but not essential.
