Tired of firefighting on site without the authority – or support – to do things properly? As an Electrical Supervisor, you take charge of building-services delivery and the commercial outcomes that go with it.
You will oversee electrical packages from pre‑construction through installation and commissioning, ensuring works are scoped, priced, installed and maintained safely, on time and to specification. You will lead supervisors, trades and subcontractors on high‑profile midlands projects across commercial offices, student accommodation and industrial, making sure everyone has the right information at the right time.
In this role you will:
- Supervise integrated M&E installations, resolving interface issues between consultants, contractors and architects before they hit site.
- Own key commercial decisions, including variations, valuations and ensuring the firm is properly reimbursed for services and attendance works.
- Plan ahead on labour, materials and programmes so your team delivers smoothly instead of constantly catching up.
You are the person others turn to when designs clash, deadlines tighten and costs need controlling. A solid background in both mechanical and electrical services is essential, with a stronger focus on electrical, plus a track record supervising electrical works on fit‑out or refurbishment projects.
The company offers competitive salary and benefits, structured development and the chance to grow with a forward‑thinking MEP contractor delivering some of Birmingham’s most interesting projects.
No need for a perfectly polished CV. If this feels like the step that finally matches your responsibilities with your influence, get in touch for a confidential chat and outline why this role interests you.
