Senior Quantity Surveyor – Northern Ireland with UK Travel

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial and contractual aspects of a £160M Heavy Civil Engineering Project. You will be responsible for overseeing cost and value engineering components, ensuring compliance with construction contracts, and providing strategic advice to the project team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage financial and contractual components of the £160M civil engineering project.
• Prepare and review bills of quantities, cost estimates and budgets.
• Interpret and apply JCT & NEC contracts, ensuring compliance.
• Negotiate contracts and variations with contractors and suppliers.
• Produce regular cost reports and forecasts.
• Collaborate with project managers, design teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• Proven experience in large civil engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of JCT & NEC contracts.
• Sound commercial awareness, organisational and communication skills.
• Excellent numerical, IT and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to site frequently.
