A specialist subcontractor based in Co. Armagh has a new opportunity for a Technical Design Manager. The Design Manager will lead design initiatives, oversee project planning, and ensure designs meet client specifications while adhering to industry standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading design initiatives and overseeing project planning to meet client specifications and industry standards
- Coordinating with project teams, managing design documentation, and conducting site visits
- Ensuring timelines and budgets are followed
- Providing guidance and leadership to enable efficient collaboration and innovative solutions
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Design Management, Project Planning, and Construction Coordination
- Proficiency in Design Software, AutoCAD, and project documentation
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and building regulations
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field
This role is predominately based in NI, with minimum travel required to mainland UK.
