The CSR Group are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Construction Contracts Manager for a market leading, UK wide, NI based building contractor. The successful Contracts Manager will oversee the management of all construction contracts related to our clients ongoing projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the construction industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of managing complex construction projects from start to finish with values in the range of £50-80 million. The projects are based in Bristol. This role requires travel 2/3 days a week initially however the successful candidate will be able to manage their own itinerary after a successful probation period.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and negotiating contracts with clients, contractors, and subcontractors
- Ensuring all contractual obligations are met by all parties involved in the clients projects
- Developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets
- Collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of all projects
- Developing and implementing best practices for contract management
Requirements:
- Degree in Construction Management or a related field
- 5 years of experience in construction contract management
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with construction contracts, specifications, and drawings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
