Building Surveyor / Project Manager Belfast City / Co Down. The CSR Group are working with an established consultancy with nearly 30 years' experience to appoint a Building Surveyor into a newly created role. This position offers something different to a typical move at this level. You will be the first Building Surveyor in the business, working directly with senior staff and taking a lead role in developing this function as the company continues to grow. Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Lead the delivery of projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Client Representation: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and coordinating consultants and contractors.
- Contract Administration: Take the lead on contract administration duties, including managing JCT/NEC contracts and site instructions.
- Project Oversight: Prepare detailed project programmes, monitor progress, and manage risk throughout the project lifecycle.
- Technical Consultancy: Undertake building surveys, inspections, and prepare comprehensive specifications and technical reports.
- Function Development: Contribute your expertise to the evolution and strategic expansion of the PM and Building Surveying function.
Essential Criteria
- Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
- 3-4 years' minimum experience in a consultancy or similar environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
