Welder Fabricator in Leicester

Robertson Recruitment is working with a well-established sheet metal company to hire an experienced Welder Fabricator. This hands‑on position is for a skilled individual who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and can confidently work from drawings to finished product.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop into a team leader or supervisor.

Working Hours

Late shift: 14:00 – 22:00. AM shift: 06:00 – 14:00.

Responsibilities

• Welding and fabrication of sheet metal components and assemblies
• Working accurately from engineering drawings and specifications
• MIG/TIG welding (depending on experience and job requirements)
• Cutting, forming, and assembling sheet metal parts
• Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping
• Working independently as well as part of a team to meet deadlines

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator, ideally within a sheet metal environment
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Competent in MIG weldingExperience with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium preferred
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
