Essential Responsibilities:

  • Maintain general ledger
  • Prepare financial reports
  • Maintain accounting records
  • Help set controls and prepare budgets and forecasts
  • Responsible for cash and risk management
  • Issues financial statements
  • Coordinate provisions of information to external auditors for annual audit
  • Perform additional job-related duties and complete special projects as assigned
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following 5S, safety, and environmental standards
  • Know, understand, utilize and follow IATF 16949 and/or ISO 14001 procedures
  • Attention to details related to customer specific requirements
  • Support continual improvement initiatives and look for continuous improvement ideas
  • Supports and exemplifies corporate values and commitment to quality, optimism, ownership, teamwork, and communication
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Accounting or Finance
  • Master of Business Administration or CPA
  • 7 to 8 years of general accounting experience
  • Public Accounting Experience a plus
  • Manufacturing and/or automotive industry a plus
  • Extremely software/computer proficient and willing to continuously learn new skills
  • High proficiency with Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Must possess a high degree of critical thinking and decision-making skills, excellent judgment
