Overview

CSP are an events company specialising in venue & stadia management. We are recruiting Security Officers to join our events team. With work available on weekdays, evenings, nights & weekends at Stoke City FC. You will have a range of shifts offered to you which you can book around your availability, plus additional training to develop new skills and widen your experience across larger events and venues. If you want to work alongside great colleagues and always strive to deliver excellent service we want to hear from you.

You will be working externally providing perimeter security, crowd management and ensuring crowd control to the stadium. The job requires you to work as part of a team and be responsible for providing first-class customer service, whilst ensuring the safety, security and health and safety of all attendees, contractors and staff.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • General patrolling and securing the areas
  • Prevent unlawful entry into venues and ensure safe entry and exit of visitors
  • Undertake the necessary legal restraints and control in a professional manner
  • Maintain crowd management & control to the stadium
  • Interact with members of the public and act with integrity and honesty while treating people with respect in challenging situations

Requirements of Security Officer

  • Right to work in the UK
  • SIA Door Supervisor Licence
  • Happy to work outdoors (rain, snow or shine)
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Team player
  • Experience in stadia events
  • Level 2 in Spectator Safety certification is an advantage but not essential
