About The Role
We are expanding our casual event staff team for The 154th Open Championship at Royal Birkdale and are looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join us. Pay & Shift Information
- Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour (holiday pay included)
- Event Dates: Sunday 12th July - Sunday 19th July 2026
- Flexible shifts available throughout the championship week
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere
- Assist guests with directions, seating, and general event information
- Support crowd management and follow all event safety procedures
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment throughout the event
- Respond confidently and professionally to guest queries
- Assist with event operations as directed by supervisors and management
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Desirable
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous experience in events, stewarding, or customer service
