We're looking for a Working at Heights Multi Trade Operative to join our dedicated team in East Dorset, carrying out maintenance, repairs and installations across a range of elevated environments.
Day to day responsibilities
There is a varied range of work involved in the role, including:
- Carrying out maintenance, repairs and installations at height on buildings and infrastructure
- Inspecting safety equipment and following rigorous safety procedures
- Supporting risk assessments and putting appropriate control measures in place for working at heights
- Operating access systems such as scaffolds, ladders and mobile platforms
- Completing detailed reports on work carried out and safety checks
- Responding promptly to emergency call-outs and urgent repair requests
About you
We're looking for someone with proven experience of working at heights or in a similar manual role, with a valid qualification or certification in working at heights, such as IPAF, PASMA or similar.
We're also looking for someone with good carpentry skills, for example, experience fitting or working on soffits and fascias. You'll have a strong understanding of health and safety protocols and be confident using hand and power tools safely.
You'll also need:
- Physical fitness suitable for manual handling and working in elevated environments
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A full UK manual driving licence and comfortable driving around the region. We will provide you with a company vehicle.
It'll be great if you have experience with rope access or advanced safety systems.
Internally, you will be known as a Roofer Level 2.
