Part of the CSO Marine Group, CSO Shipbrokers is a UK-based ship brokerage and marine consultancy, focused on providing solutions to the Offshore Renewables, Transport & Installation and EPIC Contractor market.
We are currently looking for a Trainee Shipbroker to join the team in our London office. The successful applicant will join our Broker team and undertake a 12-month training scheme to provide you with the skills required to understand the intricacies of the Offshore vessel markets in both the renewables and Oil and Gas sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Data management and support to brokers
- Researching vessel positions and generating position lists
- Researching and generating profitable new business streams
- Attend meetings, assist brokers to develop Client Relations and conduct meeting preparations
- Contract drafting and amending
- Playing an active role in the company and adding to the strategic expansion of the business
- Administrative support
- Preferably educated to degree level
- A strong and articulated communicator
- Detail orientated
- Trustworthy and transparent in their working practices
- Be able to identify and assess new business opportunities
- Be able to use your initiative and think on your feet
- Understand the importance of client services
- Committed to developing a career in shipbroking
