WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Working with the commercial and client services team to engage, excite and educate clients both existing and new. This will include presenting our plans, strategy and opportunities for them.
- Reporting to the Client Services Director, working directly with clients on large multi-sport events to implement an Environmental Sustainability Strategy
- Leading regular cross-departmental client workshops to ensure circular economy principles and emission reduction initiatives are implemented throughout every stage of the project
- Co-ordinating with the operations team internally to develop and execute a waste management plan by researching, trailing & establishing local closed-loop solutions for branding materials
- Lead CSM Live approach in recording and analysing GHG emissions data and present recommendations for decision-making throughout the project
- Help develop pre-event and post-event Sustainability Reports in coordination with the account teams.
- Working with the CSM ESG to identify, co-ordinate, and oversee student climate research projects and support our group overall approach
- Work with the procurement team to help develop, source and test products and raw materials from creation through to waste streams so that procurement of raw materials lead to sustainable procurement and production pre and post even.
THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEED
- Experience in operational delivery of environmental impact projects
- Background in events and client-facing roles
- A collaborative team-player who isn’t afraid to challenge convention
- Proven ability to lead projects autonomously and deliver commitments on time in a flexible and fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in data collection, analysis and visualisation
