The Sr. Director, Global Brand & Portfolio Management is accountable for defining and executing Seqirus's global portfolio vision and strategy across current influenza brands, pipeline assets, and adjacent vaccine opportunities. This role leads a team responsible for global product portfolio strategy and positioning, global brand and lifecycle management, and new product planning and launch readiness.

In partnership with cross-functional stakeholders, the role provides commercial and portfolio leadership to inform evidence generation priorities, pricing and market access strategies, and portfolio investments. Working closely with R&D and cross-functional stakeholders, the role ensures alignment from research through commercialization, advances high-value strategic investments, and drives portfolio decisions that maximise mid- to long-term growth, value creation, and public health impact.

This is a hybrid role, which offers a combination of an onsite and remote work schedule.

Principal Accountabilities:

This role has global responsibility across the Seqirus product portfolio including inline/marketed products and pipeline or launch assets. The position provides strategic leadership for portfolio development, lifecycle management, launch planning, commercialization strategy, and governance activities that influence significant revenue.

Key Relationships include internal teams such as Global Commercial Strategy & Planning (GCS&P) Leadership Team, Commercial Operations, Research & Development, Global Market Access & Pricing, and external partnerships/business development.

This role is responsible for addressing complex strategic, operational, and investment decisions with significant commercial impact. The individual must rapidly assess opportunities and risks, develop strategic recommendations, align stakeholders, and oversee execution against approved plans.

  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical and vaccine commercialization, lifecycle management, and product development

Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science with MBA or MS (Pharmaceutical or basic sciences) preferred.

Minimum Experience Requirements: Minimum 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including at least 8 years in various pharmaceutical functions, e.g. commercial, sales, or marketing, vaccines highly preferred.

The expected base salary range for this position at hiring is $287,000 - $352,000. Individual base salary for a successful candidate is determined by qualifications, skill level, experience, competencies and other relevant factors.
