Seqirus is looking for a Regional Ethics & Compliance Officer – International, reporting to the Ethics & Compliance Lead. The role focuses on implementing and strengthening the Ethics & Compliance framework across the International region (excluding the Americas).
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and execute Ethics & Compliance strategies, programs, and operational plans in the International region.
- Act as a trusted compliance advisor and subject‑matter expert to business stakeholders.
- Conduct and maintain compliance risk assessments and controls mapping.
- Provide ongoing, solutions‑focused compliance risk advice on regulatory requirements, industry codes, and internal policies.
- Support compliance programs including policies, training, communications, and monitoring.
- Manage investigations, including Speak‑Up matters.
- Drive third‑party due diligence and onboarding processes.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Risk and Monitoring & Assurance stakeholders to support reporting, governance, and risk‑based monitoring and testing.
- Lead compliance risk discussions and action planning.
- Proactively engage and partner with relevant Legal and Business colleagues.
- Monitor regulatory developments and emerging risks.
To Be Successful You Will Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Law, or related discipline (advanced degree preferred).
- 10+ years’ experience in compliance or risk management.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life‑sciences sectors preferred.
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to identify emerging risks and trends, think strategically, and deliver pragmatic, solutions‑oriented advice.
- Strategic partnership and stakeholder management skills, fostering a solution‑focused approach to all E&C related matters.
- Ability to implement compliance programs and manage complex projects.
- Strong communication skills and an analytical, risk‑based mindset.
- Capability to work in a cross‑functional, cross‑cultural matrixed environment.
- Commitment to being part of a global team, including required meetings across different time zones.
- Willingness and ability to travel to other company sites globally.
This is a hybrid position requiring work 3 days per week at the Maidenhead Head Office.
