The Opportunity

As Associate Director, Brand Marketing (Berinert/Haegarda) you will shape and execute the brand and disease area strategy for the International (INT) region. You will drive market expansion, strengthen brand adoption, and ensure strategic alignment across diverse markets—while allowing affiliates to meet local needs and regulatory environments. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, affiliates, International Marketing (Int Mkt), and Global Commercial Development (GCD). You will lead the development of fit‑for‑purpose go‑to‑market strategies, integrated marketing programs, lifecycle management initiatives, and brand strategies that support consistent, high‑quality execution across the region.

The Role

  • Drive the development of brand and disease area strategies for the INT region, aligned with corporate and portfolio goals.
  • Be the primary marketing partner for affiliates, fostering a strong, collaborative international marketing community.
  • Develop integrated, insight-driven brand strategies tailored to diverse markets.
  • Map and prioritize archetypes, ensuring targeted positioning and messaging.
  • Identify short- and long-term opportunities, challenges, and lifecycle management initiatives.
  • Lead market analysis to inform strategic decisions and optimize plans.
  • Build aligned, customer‑focused brand plans and ensure disciplined regional implementation.
  • Define KPIs and monitor performance, adjusting activities based on data and insights.
  • Be a central contact for internal and external stakeholders across Marketing, Medical, Regulatory, Finance, and KOL/HCP networks.
  • Manage the regional brand budget to maximize ROI.

Your Experience

  • Education: Graduate degree or equivalent required. Postgraduate qualification preferred.
  • Experience: 8–10 years of healthcare experience with 7+ years in pharmaceutical or biotech brand sales and marketing.
  • Proven track record of driving brand strategy with operational excellence and delivering above‑market results.
  • Experience leading above‑country marketing initiatives and influencing diverse, multicultural matrix teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies and tactics.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and data‑driven marketing tools.
  • Excellent project management skills with experience leading complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives.
  • Excellent command of English.
