Intercompany Accounting Assistant

The role is part of the Accounting Services Team and will be responsible for supporting the Intercompany team with general Intercompany duties, including invoices, recharges, payments and reconciliations.

• Execute Intercompany accounting processes in line with policies and procedures.
• Prepare and post Intercompany invoices in line with Group policy.
• Maintain mailboxes and action any ad hoc queries in respect of Intercompany.
• Raise manual journals as necessary.
• Respond to queries/request from external auditors.
• Prepare, review and investigate intercompany mismatches.
• Generate and distribute routine Intercompany reporting.
• Support on Intercompany netting reports, payments and journals.
• Support on the payments of other Intercompany balances.
• Prepare Intercompany Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
• GRIR on intercompany, blocked billing and pricing issues.
• Forecast and budget preparation for Intercompany.
• Support continuous improvement plans and projects.
  Experience in accounting and finance
• Experience in global scientific/pharmaceutical industry / Shared Service environment highly desirable.
• Experience in SAP highly desirable.

This role is based in Speke, Liverpool. This is a hybrid role requiring working 3 days per week in the office.
