The Senior Financial Analyst supports global accounting operations by delivering accurate financial analysis, reconciliations, and close and planning cycle support. This role helps maintain reliable financial data, with emphasis on intragroup profit elimination and transactional FX reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support execution of month-end close and planning activities related to Intragroup Profit (IGP) and Transactional FX.
  • Prepare and post journal entries.
  • Analyze Intragroup Profit (IGP) and Transactional FX results and explain variances between actual and plan.
  • Support Internal/External audit requests as required.
  • Support the continuous improvement of business practices/procedures by leveraging systems and best practices.
  • Supports other key initiatives and performs ad-hoc analysis as defined by Senior Management.

Education Requirements

  • ACA, ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in accounting, mathematics or finance or related discipline.

Experience Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in financial reporting and analysis, including work in multi-site global environments.
  • Strong financial modeling experience.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • SAP knowledge is strongly preferred.
  • Skilled in quantitative analysis and modeling.
  • Experience working with multiple currencies.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while communicating effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Effectively manages overlapping projects, adapts to change, learns quickly, solves complex problems, perseveres through challenges, and remains focused on customer needs.
  • Works effectively across cultures to achieve objectives.

The role is based in Speke, Liverpool. Hybrid role: Office based 3-days a week.
