Tagetik Consultant – Hyperion Functional
Location: London, UK – 2 days in office
Contract: Inside IR35
Experience: 5–7 years relevant EPM/CPM experience
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Tagetik Consultant with strong Hyperion Functional expertise to support the design, implementation, and optimization of Corporate Performance Management (CPM) / Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions.
The ideal candidate will work closely with Finance and Business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Tagetik solutions and support Hyperion-to-Tagetik transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support Tagetik EPM implementations covering:
- Budgeting, Planning & Forecasting
- Financial Close & Consolidation
- Management & Disclosure Reporting
- Gather and analyze business/finance requirements and translate them into functional and technical designs.
- Perform functional analysis across Hyperion Planning, HFM, FCCS and Essbase.
- Support Hyperion-to-Tagetik migration/coexistence strategies, gap analysis, and solution mapping.
- Configure Tagetik modules including data models, workflows, hierarchies, business rules and validations.
- Design and support integrations with SAP, Oracle and other ERP systems/data warehouses.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and Smart Insight analytics.
- Support UAT, Go-Live, production support and end-user training.
- Prepare functional specifications, solution design documents and test scripts.
- Collaborate effectively with technical teams, project managers and client stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–7 years of relevant EPM/CPM implementation experience.
- Strong hands-on Tagetik experience; 2–3+ years preferred.
- Strong functional experience with:
- Hyperion Planning
- HFM and/or FCCS
- Oracle Essbase
- FDMEE
- Strong understanding of financial consolidation, budgeting, planning, forecasting and management/statutory reporting.
- Good knowledge of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow processes.
- Experience with ETL/integration concepts and data reconciliation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Good to Have
- Hyperion-to-Tagetik migration experience.
- Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP or Local GAAP.
- Functional knowledge of SQL, MDX or scripting.
- Experience integrating with SAP S/4HANA or Oracle ERP.
- Tagetik certification.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related discipline. MBA/CA/CMA is an advantage.
