We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team on a contract basis, supporting a portfolio of Investor Engagement initiatives, including product integration and the consolidation of services and data streams across our key entities - EVIE, CMi2i, and Makinson Cowell - as well as other strategic platforms.

Reporting to the Technical Delivery Lead, you will act as the key conduit between newly acquired companies, Computershare, and the development team. You will play a critical role in managing delivery, driving ongoing platform enhancements, and ensuring effective collaboration across various workstreams. This role requires a strong data and process-oriented mindset.

You will be responsible for translating complex business needs into scalable, efficient solutions, ensuring alignment across stakeholders, product objectives and technical delivery. As you’ll be engaging closely with business leaders, product owners, developers, and external stakeholders - you must possess excellent communication skills, confidence and the ability to challenge constructively when needed.

Key Responsibilities of a Business Analyst

  • Requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation
  • Facilitating workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather business and system requirements
  • Process mapping, analysis and optimisation (As-is / To-Be)
  • Translating requirements into user stories, writing clear acceptance criteria and documenting functional specifications
  • Acting as a bridge between business and technology teams to ensure clarity and alignment
  • Supporting Agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
  • Collaborating with development teams to ensure solutions are scalable and meet business needs
  • Supporting testing and post-testing activities (UAT coordination, test script creation, defect triaging)
  • Driving process improvements and promoting best practice across workstreams
  • Ensuring solutions deliver measurable value and enhance user experience where applicable

Required Skillset Experience:

  • Strong core Business Analysis skills (requirements gathering, user stories, workshop facilitation)
  • Demonstrable experience in process analysis, process design, and continuous improvement
  • Experience working in data-driven environments (data analysis, interpretation, and validation)
  • Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies and working within cross-functional teams
  • Financial Services experience preferred, but not essential
  • Proficiency with tools such as Azure DevOps, MS Loop, Miro, Figma, Excel and SQL (or similar)
  • 5-10 years of relevant Business Analyst experience
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt style across technical and non-technical audiences (Developers through to C-Suite)
  • Confidence to challenge, influence, and push back constructively where appropriate
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
