Role Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading pallets of chemical waste using a counterbalance forklift
  • Operating a forklift for moving materials between storage and processing areas
  • Ensuring materials are stored safely according to hazard segregation, under supervision
  • Sorting, segregating, and repacking waste streams
  • Assisting with recycling waste across the site
  • Breaking down materials for recycling
  • Loading lorries and moving materials around the site
  • Emptying bins and replacing bags in offices and factory floors
  • Operating various machinery
  • Performing manual handling tasks and other duties
  • Working outdoors with full PPE provided
  • Assisting with plant cleaning and maintaining tidy work areas
  • Training will be provided

Person Specification:
The Candidate:
Must have a counterbalance forklift license and a current driving license
Good spoken and written English skills
Willing to work as part of a team
Knowledge of health and safety standards
