Role Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading pallets of chemical waste using a counterbalance forklift
- Operating a forklift for moving materials between storage and processing areas
- Ensuring materials are stored safely according to hazard segregation, under supervision
- Sorting, segregating, and repacking waste streams
- Assisting with recycling waste across the site
- Breaking down materials for recycling
- Loading lorries and moving materials around the site
- Emptying bins and replacing bags in offices and factory floors
- Operating various machinery
- Performing manual handling tasks and other duties
- Working outdoors with full PPE provided
- Assisting with plant cleaning and maintaining tidy work areas
- Training will be provided
Person Specification:
The Candidate:
Must have a counterbalance forklift license and a current driving license
Good spoken and written English skills
Willing to work as part of a team
Knowledge of health and safety standards
