An established and fast-growing digital infrastructure platform is seeking a senior Director / VP of Design & Construction to lead the end-to-end delivery of hyperscale and large enterprise data centre developments across Europe. This is a pivotal leadership role with full ownership of both design and construction, overseeing projects from greenfield origination through to turnkey delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Full P&L responsibility across a portfolio of major data centre developments
  • Lead both design and construction functions, ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion
  • Oversee the delivery of hyperscale and large enterprise data centres (turnkey builds)
  • Manage and develop a team of ~10 (direct and indirect reports)
  • Act as the most senior figure across construction and engineering, with full accountability for delivery outcomes
  • Drive best-in-class standards across programme, cost, quality, and safety

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading both design and construction on large-scale infrastructure or data centre projects
  • Strong background in greenfield project delivery
  • Track record of delivering complex, mission-critical assets (data centre experience highly preferred)
  • Comfortable operating with full commercial accountability and senior stakeholder exposure
  • Leadership style that is collaborative, grounded, and pragmatic
  • Based in (or willing to be based in) the UK or key European markets
