Job Description
Location: Middlesbrough
Salary: Up to ÂŁ40,000
Role: Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: 40 hours per week, overtime available (non guaranteed)

Role Accountabilities
- Drive and operate Company vehicles and equipment in a professional, safe, and legal manner.
- Attend customer premises to collect hazardous and non-hazardous packaged waste in drums, IBCs etc.
- Be aware of, understand and achieve required standards of performance.
- Deal with Customers in a manner that retains their loyalty to the Company and delivers an outstanding service.
- Be flexible and prepared to work on tankers when not working on curtainsider
- Be flexible and prepared to work away from home as and when the need arises
- Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner that does not negatively impact human health, the environment or public amenity.
- Ensure that all driver related paperwork is completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Daily duties will involve some packaging and heavy lifting.
- Raise any issues, problems, or concerns with your Line Manager at the earliest opportunity
Person Specification
The Candidate
- Hold current HGV licence, Class 1 or 2.
- Holds an ADR qualification.
- Digi-card and current CPC qualification.
- Experience in the waste management industry desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Good general level of education to GCSE standard or equivalent.
- Demonstrable competence in the operation of HGV vehicles and use of on-site equipment and PPE
