Clinical Product Specialist – UK – Acute/Critical Care Equipment
Based: Anywhere England, remote
Salary: Up to £65,000 and bonus
Are you heavily experienced and knowledgeable in the UK patient monitoring hospital ICU market including very importantly integrated/connected solutions?
Are you an ex ICU Nurse with experience working in Medtech either as either a Clinical Specialist or Sales Rep?
CSG are exclusively looking for a Clinical Product Specialist to work for an innovation leading acute/critical care equipment and devices business, looking for a Patient Monitoring subject matter expert for their UK business.
This is a unique role sitting between sales and clinical, having both a proactive and reactive edge to the opportunity. Our ideal hire will be the main point of contact for everything patient monitoring, being our expert in this area with a huge focus on the integrated, connected and digital solutions. We are looking for someone who can really understand our unique selling points and help us align them with end users needs and unique buying points, allowing them to position their solutions is the highest quality way
Reactively you will support the Sales Team wherever needed being the companies high level expert to discuss, understand and explain everything patient monitoring as well as the fully integrated and connected solution. You will be able to dive deep into the fine detail and really understand how the company can not only deliver what the customer is ideally looking for but preferably exceed their expectations with improvements and solutions they may have even considered themselves.
Proactively you will look to look to work with NHS Trusts, KOL\’s and senior clinicians in the NHS across the UK to help the business map out up and coming opportunities as well as promoting the elevating the companies brand in the patient monitoring and integrated solutions ICU hospital market. You will not be required to close sales, you are NOT a targeted sales person and any leads with this in mind will be passed onto the regional rep to commercially manage and you will work as a team to hopefully secure the business.
Requirements:
- Our ideal candidate will be an ex ICU/Acute Care Nurse
- Minimum of 3 years in Medtech as a Clinical/Product Specialist, experience directly for a manufacture of patient monitors sold into the ICU is ideal though we will consider other areas of Acute/Critical Care equipment aligned with patient monitoring and more importantly the integrated/connected solution
- You will have a solid understanding of fully integrated and connected patient monitoring technologies in the ICU
- Flexibility to travel throughout the UK is essential with the ability to stay away from home when needed, we expect travel to be between 50-60%
- You must be UK resident and legally allowed to work in the UK now, we cannot support any international relocation for this role
