My client is a leading household name when it comes to the D-I-Y and Electrical industry and are now looking for a sales Manager to cover their Italian region. They are currently going through a period of substantial growth and are looking to bring an extra member into their team.
The role
As the Sales Manager you will be responsible for developing new business within the CE and D-I-Y market. You will create a business plan to outline revenue and growth goals whilst creating a strategy to meet these goals. You will manage larger key customer accounts and act as the first point of contact.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement a business plan and sales strategy for UK&IE to ensure achievement of company sales goals.
- Manage and grow relationships with key retail accounts including Currys, John Lewis, Argos, Harvey Norman and others.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within DIY chains such as B&Q, Screwfix, Woodie\’s and others.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient sales structures and processes.
- Drive new product introductions and coordinate related marketing activities with key accounts.
- Monitor and actively manage sales activities and performance.
- Ensure strong brand presence and improve brand awareness.
- Provide regular market and account analysis to support strategic decisions.
Ideal Candidate
You will already be a successful Sales Manager or Account Manager for an electronic, robotic or D-I-Y business. You will be confident in creating a business vision and always working towards this. You will be able to manage key accounts and will be able to collaborate with cross functional teams of experts. You must have the ability to build strong business and personal relationships whilst developing profitable account growth.
Key requirements.
* Bachelor\’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
* Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Key Account Management, preferably in consumer electronics or home improvement sectors.
* Proven track record of working with UK & IE retail and/or DIY chains.
* Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently from a home office.
* Fluent in English (written and spoken).
* Willingness to travel within UK & IE as needed.
