Learning, Development & Onboarding Partner
We have a fantastic opportunity at CSG Talent to join us as our Learning, Development & Onboarding Partner – a pivotal role within the People Team, working closely alongside our Head of L&D. This opportunity is a could be for an experienced L&D professional who is looking to take their next step, or an experienced Recruiter who is looking to step into a more supportive role.
Please note that this is an onsite role in Horsforth, Leeds.
The Role:
Global Onboarding for New Starters
- Liaising with the Talent Acquisition team to coordinate start dates and group intakes for New Starters
- Planning a comprehensive training programme for all new starters throughout their induction period across 6-8 weeks.
- Travelling to Global offices and coordinating with Global Office Heads to address best onboarding experience for consultants.
- Work with Global Offices, Managers and Regional Heads to ensure employees are functional as soon as possible and receiving regular updates from Managers and Regional Heads on the performance of the Consultants throughout training.
- Review and amend effectiveness for the Onboarding Programme ensuring that we are offering the best experience possible for New Starters.
Training of New Starters
- Deliver a comprehensive training programme to all New Starters across any level within the business over the first 6-8 weeks of a colleague\’s career at CSG
- Ensure that the training programme is interlinked with CSG Talent\’s Values and follows the CSG Playbook
- Training is to be delivered through varied methods such as travelling to other offices to deliver sessions and 121\’s in person and remote/online support.
- External office support for those colleagues working in regional/global offices or remotely.
- Be the main point of contact for role specific related questions, before passing off training.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Head of L&D and the COO throughout the training programme to ensure the best programmes are continuously delivered to a high standard.
Delivering Continuous Company-wide Training
- Continually assess and review current training material to ensure it remains current & relevant for the business and create updated content as and when required.
- Deliver learning workshops to teams, including follow up sessions if required, on an ad-hoc basis when requested.
- Support the wider L&D Team with the maintenance of our LMS, Thrive to ensure updated and relevant content creation
- Collaborate with the Head of L&D and Operations Manager to support and deliver training in line with company strategy, goals and initiatives to continually track and demonstrate ROI.
- Provide feedback to stakeholders in regard to Consultant and Team performance.
As the Learning and Onboarding Partner you will also be responsible for managing, evaluating, and improving the technological tools and systems that support CSG Talent\’s Tech Stack. This role ensures our platforms are effective, competitive, and aligned with organizational goals while also supporting system adoption through training and change management.
System Optimisation & Implementation
- Regularly assess current platforms and technologies to ensure optimal performance and effectiveness.
- Benchmark systems against market alternatives to maintain competitiveness.
- Monitor and report on system usage, ROI, and vendor performance.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies by attending seminars, expos, and industry events.
- Lead the deployment and integration of new tools within the tech stack.
- Training & Maintenance of CSG Talents technology stack

- Experience designing and delivering training (especially onboarding)
