Asset Manager – HV Infrastructure | Offshore Wind | Remote (UK-based with travel)
Remote with flexibility for travel
We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager – HV Infrastructure to take strategic ownership of an offshore wind HV infrastructure portfolio (up to 400kV, £500M+ asset value). In this role, you\’ll lead the development and delivery of asset management strategies across a global portfolio, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and maximise long-term asset value. Acting as technical authority for HV systems, you will balance engineering expertise with commercial acumen to optimise performance, minimise risk, and drive innovation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver annual asset management documentation (strategy, execution plans, health reviews, risk registers).
- Chair monthly performance reviews, ensuring asset availability, reliability, and cost KPIs are achieved.
- Optimise inspection and maintenance strategies to achieve 98.5%+ availability and year-on-year OPEX efficiency.
- Provide technical authority on major asset interventions >£100k.
- Lead investment cases and asset improvement projects with clear ROI and risk reduction.
- Oversee asset management systems, data integrity, and performance reporting across OFTO sites.
- Ensure zero regulatory non-compliance, maintaining adherence to Grid Code, STC, and marine licensing requirements.
- Manage and mentor the Asset Planner, fostering a high-performance culture.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent); Chartered Engineer preferred.
- Proven track record (5+ years) in HV asset management within the offshore wind or energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of asset management principles (ISO 55001 desirable).
- Commercially astute with experience in strategy development and optimisation of maintenance programmes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Analytical thinker with a problem-solving mindset and resilience in challenging situations.
