Packing and Warehouse Administrator
My client has an opportunity for a Packing and Warehouse Administrator.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that packaging material is ordered, received, issued, and controlled to prevent quality or stock losses.
The Administrator ensures that all metrics associated with the packing material, packing, and warehousing are accurately recorded, reviewed, and, where necessary, remedial actions are taken.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure correct packing material is available for each product line.
- Holding stock levels of Poly/Plastic and Paper for 3 weeks.
- Ensure good quality of packing material received – conformance to receiving protocol.
- Control stock levels of packing materials and losses – daily issue and receive reconciliation. Monthly packing material reconciliation must be accurate and correct.
- Accurate product information to enable warehouse and weighbridge weight controls on loads to manage stock loss risk.
- Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric and a Certificate/Diploma in Supply Chain or Logistics.
