About the role
We’re looking for a part-time Receptionist to be the welcoming face and first point of contact for our busy school. You’ll manage the reception desk, greet visitors, handle calls, and keep our records and security passes running smoothly. As part of a dedicated team, you’ll play a key role in safeguarding pupils, supporting school events, and ensuring the reception area is always professional and inviting. This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same, and your contribution will help us deliver on our Trust wide mission: a great education for every child.
About you
You’re personable, professional, and thrive in a busy environment. With at least 3 GCSEs (including Maths and English) and proven customer service experience, you bring excellent communication, organisation, and ICT skills. You can juggle tasks with ease, stay calm under pressure, and know when to use your initiative or escalate queries. A true team player, you’re flexible, detail-focused, and confident dealing with a wide range of people. Most importantly, you’ll be a positive role model who shares our values and commitment to safeguarding and supporting students.
