Each administration team manages its own portfolio of clients and structures, with responsibility for entity formation, transaction implementation, continuing obligations, day-to-day correspondence, oversight and KPIs.

THE POSITION

As Transaction Analyst, you will manage the day-to-day administration of an allocated portfolio of Jersey-based client entities and capital markets structures.

You will take ownership of your workload, client deliverables, KPIs and billing, while working under the guidance and oversight of a Senior Transaction Analyst or Manager.

You may coordinate and delegate appropriate routine tasks to junior colleagues, while remaining accountable for ensuring that the work is completed accurately and on time.

You are not expected to join as a capital markets specialist, but ideally, you will have 1-2 years of experience in the financial services industry or a related field.

The role offers substantial learning on the job, supported by experienced colleagues, enabling you to develop practical knowledge of transaction management, corporate governance and Jersey’s regulated financial services environment.

  • YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the day-to-day administration of an allocated portfolio of Jersey companies, SPVs and other capital markets structures, delivering accurate and timely service under appropriate senior oversight.
  • Support the establishment and implementation of new structures and transactions, including entity formation, transaction closing, document execution coordination and post-completion matters.
  • Maintain diary and workflow systems and take ownership of contractual, statutory, regulatory and client deadlines, escalating actual or potential delays promptly.
  • Coordinate routine matters with clients, legal advisers, auditors, tax advisers, arrangers, agents and other transaction parties, seeking guidance where matters are unfamiliar, complex or outside your authority.
  • Prepare board and shareholder meeting materials, including agendas, board packs, minutes and resolutions, and monitor completion of agreed actions.
  • Maintain accurate and complete statutory books, registers, corporate records and client data across CSC systems, ensuring information is current and appropriately filed.
  • Prepare routine statutory and registry filings and support incorporations, officer changes, distributions, and entity closures, with review or approval as required.
  • Apply good corporate governance principles and promptly refer significant, unusual or judgement-based matters to a Senior Transaction Analyst or Manager.
  • Support client take-on and periodic review activities, including customer due diligence, risk assessments and screening, in accordance with CSC policies and Jersey requirements.
  • Monitor continuing obligations and promptly elevate overdue actions, unusual activity, conflicts, breaches, errors, complaints or other risk concerns.
  • Build effective working relationships with clients and intermediaries and act as a reliable day-to-day contact for allocated matters, with senior support available where required.
  • Maintain accurate and timely time recording, monitor work in progress and portfolio KPIs, and take responsibility for meeting applicable service levels and performance measures.
  • Prepare and issue client billing in accordance with agreed timetables and fee arrangements, identifying out-of-scope work and referring fee or collection concerns to senior colleagues.
  • Delegate or coordinate appropriate routine tasks with junior colleagues where required, giving clear instructions and following up on completion while retaining accountability for the client deliverable.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across administration, accounting, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Finance and other CSC offices to support seamless service delivery.
  • Contribute to process improvements, knowledge sharing, data-quality initiatives and the effective use of CSC systems and technology.
  • Take ownership of your learning and professional development, building technical knowledge through practical experience, coaching, internal resources and relevant professional study.

WHAT TECHNICAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU NEED?
